Nagrody Emmy 2019: Gra o Tron najlepszym serialem roku

Nagrody Emmy 2019 przyznane

Siedemdziesiąta pierwsza gala Primetime Emmy Awards, czyli Nagród Emmy, odbyła się 22 września w Microsoft Theater w Los Angeles.  Do walki o najwyższe serialowe laury stanęły produkcje mające premierę od 1 czerwca 2018 do 31 maja bieżącego roku. Wśród nominowanych do Nagród Emmy prym wiodły w tym roku Gra o Tron oraz Czarnobyl.

Tej pierwszej produkcji udało się zgarnąć dwanaście statuetek spośród trzydziestu dwóch, do których była nominowana. W tej liczbie zawiera się laur za najlepszy serial dramatyczny, choć wśród innych istotnych kategorii dla Gry o Tron znalazło się miejsce wyłącznie w przypadku nagrody za najlepszą postać wspierającą. Po raz czwarty trafiła ona do Petera Drinklage’a.
