Nagrody Eisnera 2019. Kto zdobył komiksowe Oscary?

Przyznano Nagrody Eisnera 2019

Podczas konwentu Comic Con w San Diego przyznano po raz kolejny Nagrody Eisnera, czyli Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. Nazwane tak na cześć rysownika i scenarzysty Willa Eisnera po jego śmierci w 2005 roku przyznawane są rokrocznie od 1988 roku za osiągnięcia kreatywne w dziedzinie komiksu. Nieprzypadkowo nazywa się je komiksowymi Oscarami – zdobycie tego lauru jest dla amerykańskich twórców olbrzymim osiągnięciem.

Największym wygranym wieczoru został Tom King (pisaliśmy niedawno zarówno o jego planach na Batmana, jak i nowym cyklu Batman/Catwoman), który zgarnął statuetki w kategoriach „best writer”, „best limited series”, „best short story” oraz „best graphic album—reprint”. Ominął go wyłącznie laur za „best continuing series” (nominowany był tam za swojego Batmana), który przyznany został komiksowi Giant Days, wydanemu w Polsce przez Non Stop Comics.
